Getting a seller account

Selling requires seller permission. Contact the administrator to have it granted. You will be asked for the following, and we review it:

Your standing on other auction sites (Yahoo! Auctions, Mercari, eBay and so on)
Your activity on this site
Identity verification

Fees

Listing is free.
There is no closing fee for the time being (one may be introduced later).

How an auction runs

The closing date and time are not fixed in advance. The auction starts the moment the first bid is placed, and ends once the number of days you set has passed.

The close is set to the day, the hour and the minute. The minute can be assigned at random, and the assigned minute is shown on the auction page.

Listing an item

Title: The name of the item.
Category: The catalogue is built around animation cels for now. Choose the work from the dropdown. If it is not listed, we will add the category. We are happy to take items other than cels as well — please contact the administrator.
Condition: Rate the item on the five-step scale.
Description: Describe the item as fully as you can, exactly as it is. A gap between the description and the item is what disputes are made of.
Starting price: The price bidding opens at.
Buy-It-Now price (option): A bid at or above this price wins immediately and ends the auction.
Participation deposit (option): Requires a deposit before anyone may bid. It keeps nuisance bidding off a high-value listing. The deposit is a cost to the bidder, so use it deliberately.
The winner: the deposit is applied to the winning amount.
Everyone else: refunded, less the transfer fee.
Shipping size units (option): Set this and shipping is calculated automatically, at the right size, when one buyer wins several of your items.
Shipping: Choose prepaid or freight collect. When a seller in Japan sells to a buyer overseas, international shipping is added to the bill automatically even if freight collect was chosen.
Payment methods: Bank transfer — accepted from Japan and from abroad. The money is paid into the operator's account and passed to you once the trade is complete. Transfer fees are paid by the buyer.

PayPal — a 4.2% fee is added.

Cryptocurrency — XRP only at present. A 0.5% fee is added.
Open Time: The date and time bidding opens. Leave it empty, or set it in the past, and the listing accepts bids as soon as it goes up.
Duration (days): How many days the auction runs for. Anything from 1 to 30 days.
End time: The closing time of day, as hh:mm. The minute can be assigned at random, and is by default.
Require bid approval: Tick this and every bidder has to be approved by you before they can take part.
Remarks: Anything you need to tell bidders about this auction.
Add images: Up to 10 images, 5MB each.
Accepted formats: JPEG / PNG / GIF / BMP / WebP
Uploaded images are watermarked automatically. The public sees the watermarked copy; bidders, deposit holders and you as the seller see the clean one.
Sell: One click and the item is listed. Anything missing and it will not go up.

Bulk listing

Bulk listing is offered as a Python script: one CSV of your listings plus the images, uploaded in one run. Please contact us if you would like to use it.
